Spain's Rising Star Brings Schoolwork to Euro 2024: Yamal Juggles Duties During Tournament

Barcelona and Spain's Lamine Yamal is living the dream of participating in the European Championship, but he's also brought his schoolwork along to the tournament.

Barcelona and Spain's Lamine Yamal is living the dream of participating in the European Championship, which is set to kick off in a few days in Germany.

However, the Spanish newspaper AS revealed that the promising Spanish international is tackling Euro 2024 while burdened with schoolwork, attending online classes in addition to La Roja's training sessions.

The newspaper quoted Yamal as saying that he brought his homework with him to the European Championship.

The 16-year-old player said, "I brought my homework to the Euros because I'm in the fourth year of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education)."

He continued, "I have online classes, and it's okay. I hope the teacher doesn't stay with me."

Lamine Yamal is expected to become the youngest player to participate in the European Championship if he plays in Spain's match against Croatia.
